- Me personally breastfeeding my both child until they 2 yrs old, the youngest one is almost done breastfeed since he is now 22month :D Its been an amazing moment for me, even though i mix it up with normal formula milk. Earlier once doctor has verdict my son has an allergic in milk formula, i dont quite sure though i still breastfeed him. Though i follow doctor suggestion to gave him HypoAllergenic Milk. Its only few month, when he turn one i replace his secondary milk with normal formula milk, its ok back then, then i realize "darn, he is not allergic in milk'' But lately, he was having some kind of illness in his skin, after searching its called dermatitis. I have no idea where it come from, i could be anywhere especially food. Because to be honest, he got this from me, genetical from me cause i have terrible allergic. I was hoping it could be cure, not only dissapear and then show up again. Hikksssss... :(
- Its so terrible having my child in such condition, not terribly bad of course. I just have to prevent it can get worst than ever.
- I just want to write down, share a bit, and hope for any other advice. I use my insting and faith as a mother than my son is not having allergic in milk, but probably in food same with mine. I gave anything i know, i do anything i can do to prevent and cure. But till now, i'm sure he is not allergic in formula milk.
- Breastfeeding is the world's most effective solution to reducing child deaths, yet global breastfeeding rates have stagnated at below 40 percent for two decades. On the heels of President Obama's State of the Union address pledge to help to save children around the world from preventable deaths, Save the Children's new report investigates what is keeping more women from breastfeeding immediately after birth or continuing for six months. The report reveals barriers including: family pressures, cultural beliefs that the colostrum is dirty, lack of a skilled health worker to help moms at one third of all births, lack of maternity leave and supportive workplace policies, and evidence of direct marketing of formula to mothers and health workers in violation of the International Code of Marketing of Breast-milk Substitutes."Women everywhere should have all the support and information they need to make the best choices for themselves and for the health and survival of their children," Miles said. "At the same time, all of us can do something to help save hundreds of thousands of babies from needless death. It's a matter of raising our voices for these children".Breastfeeding provides babies with the best possible defense against malnutrition, which is the underlying cause of one in three child deaths globally, more than 2 million child deaths a year.
